This ranch is tucked away in a canyon with super cool views in the remote hills of Malibu, California. You can rent this cool ranch for films, TV, video, comm, photo, weddings, events, vacation stays and more. This ranch has 3 houses with 2 to 5 bedrooms in each house and much more. This Celebrity famed rental ranch is surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains that rise up abruptly from sea level to over 3,000 ft. The landmark peak Bony Ridge looms over the ranch, These mountains are filled with caves containing American Indian petroglyphs, drawn thousands of years ago by the Chumash Indians, who inhabited the land where the ranch now stands. The area around the ranch teams with great wildlife, including mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, raccoons, skunk, opossum, kangaroo rats, hawks, eagles, owls, rattlesnakes, lizards, tarantulas and scorpions. The new animal zoo is gated but in the past, giant California Condors soared high in the sky overhead the ranch looking for a meal. They roosted in the crevices and caves of Bony Ridge Mountains. Many years ago, the giant California Grizzly roamed the grounds of what is now the Ranch today. The Ranch is home to a wide variety of creatures: dogs, cats, and gated horses, Texas longhorn steer / cow, pygmy goats, pot-bellied pigs, sheep, alpacas, buffalos, desert tortoises, boa-constrictors, pythons, monitor lizards, hawks and other animals. These animals are part of the Ranch family and receive love and care from the Ranch staff as well as from countless volunteers. Most of these animals are adopted. On any given weekend, visitors to the ranch include Hollywood celebrities, musicians, professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, businesses people, families and studio features like film, TV and photo productions.
The Ranch Foundation is a tax
deductible rental location. Many guests choose to ride up on or in
cars, trucks, buses, vans, motorcycles, or helicopters to enjoy the
winding roads of the Canyon and the clear skies in which the ranch
is nestled. |
